Departing at 9am by catamaran or 11am by boat from Bugibba, this one-day cruise allows you to discover the beauty of the Maltese coast. Participants will have the opportunity to swim in the Blue Lagoon and enjoy free time to explore the island of Gozo. Several boat options and departure times are available.
The excursion departs from the tourist town of Bugibba, where passengers board the ship for a cruise to two islands. The open sea offers visitors a unique panorama of Malta. Cold drinks are available on board. The route follows the coastline, offering views of Malta’s natural coastline, cliffs and rock formations. Passengers can also observe the island of Saint-Paul, with its statue of the apostle rising into the sky, as well as various sea caves ideal for photography.
The first port of call is Crystal Lagoon (in high season only), a lesser-known site for tourists. The crystal-clear water is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving. Travelers can dive from waterslides or jump from the upper deck.
Afterwards, the cruise heads for the famous Blue Lagoon, where the boat is moored for an hour, offering a beautiful view. Participants use the boat as a starting point for enjoying the facilities.
Arriving on Gozo, three hours are devoted to exploring the island. Tours can be self-guided or include the hire of land transport for an additional cost. This transport can take you to one of two destinations, offering two hours of discovery.
The first is Rabat, Gozo’s capital, known for its charm and history, especially its citadel. The second is a picturesque fishing village in the southwest of the island, surrounded by towering cliffs and a charming bay.
Visitors can explore the caves, admire the panoramic view from the cliffs or enjoy the eateries and souvenir stores. At the end of the day, return to Bugibba by boat, including a trip through the pirate caves of Santa Maria and observation of the “elephant head” rock formation.
